Jena Fields, DDS, MS

Senior Associate

Hi, I'm Dr. Fields! I'm originally from upstate New York but have been a member of Dr. Camps practice since the summer of 2001. I'm a graduate of the University of Michigan's School of Dentistry. I received a perfect score on my clinical board examination and American Board of Pediatric Dentistry Written Examination for board certification.

As a pediatric dentist I am deeply interested in your child's dental health and personal well-being; my goal is to help your child attain a healthy smile.

Melanie Acosta, DMD

Melanie Acosta, D.M.D.

Hello, my name is Dr. Acosta! I grew up in a small town in Connecticut. I received my dental degree from the University of Connecticut in 2003; my specialty training in pediatric dentistry was performed at the University of Maryland.

I have been a member of the Dr. Camps' team since April 2006.

From a very young age I always knew I wanted to work with children. Before attending dental school I volunteered at different daycare centers, was a camp counselor, worked as a childcare provider during church services and was even a teacher at Gymboree!

I enjoy teaching children and their families how to take care of their teeth. The best part of my day is helping apprehensive children through their dental appointments. It's a great feeling when we can dry tears, erase fears and have children walk out of our office with a smile - and a prize, of course! At our office we strive to treat each child as we would like our own. As a mother of two small children I knew how much our patients and our families appreciate that!!

Tiffany Gavin Walker, DDS

Tiffany Walker, DDSHello, my name is Dr. Gavin. I was born and raised in northern New Jersey and I am new to the DC Metro area. I received my dental degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2006 and completed a general practice residency at Harlem Hospital. I then went on to complete my advance training in pediatric dentistry at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY.

I have participated in dental outreach and community outreach over the last several years, both locally and internationally, which has given me an even greater appreciation of dentistry and the unmet needs of children. As a patient and compassionate person I know that working with children in the dental field is right for me.

I am very proud to have passed the Qualifying Examination for the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and am very excited about joining Dr. Camps Pediatric Dental Center. I look forward to meeting you.

Ellen Lee, DDS

Ellen Lee, DDSHi, I'm Dr. Lee! I grew up in Seoul, Korea and immigrated to Southern California when I was ten years old and later received a B.S. in Biology with a Studio Art minor from the University of California, Irvine in 2001. I then went on to earn my D.D.S. from Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, University of Maryland in 2006.

Since graduating dental school, I have been treating the underserved population in Maryland. I had a lot of community involvement educating parents and children on oral health and prevention. I am also actively involved with my local church where I teach Sunday school to children in elementary school. I enjoy running and spending time with family and friends. I am happily married to Dr. Jim Im, who also graduated from the same dental school in 2004.
