Office and Infection Control

To our valued family and friends at Dr. Camps Pediatric Dental Center:

We wanted to update you on all that is going on here at the office.

Since we have returned, we are seeing a reduced number of patients per day.  As appointments are scheduled and we begin to see your wonderful faces again, there are a few things that have changed since your last visit that we would like you to be aware of:

• Multiple air filters have been installed throughout the office to ensure the air you’re breathing when you visit is as clean and safe as possible.
• Our waiting room is closed. We ask that patients wait in the car and call upon arrival. We will call you when we are ready to see you.
• Social Distancing best practices are in use.
• As always, we practice strict universal precautions.  However, we have taken additional measures including frequent wipe downs of commonly used surfaces, sneeze guards have been placed around the office and clinical area to ensure ultimate cleanliness.
• Our team will look a little different due to the additional personal protective equipment.

As things have changed in our office, we also ask a few changes from you to best serve our patients and keep you and our staff healthy and safe:

• Masks are required to be worn in the office at all times.
• Only one parent/guardian is allowed to accompany your child or children to the appointment.
• Both you and your child’s temperature will be checked before entering the office for your child’s appointment.
• Everyone entering the office will have their hands cleaned with sanitizer.

We will be calling to confirm your appointment as we always have. When we do call we will ask a series of questions as required by the CDC. Once an appointment is confirmed, we will email you a consent form to fill out digitally ahead of your appointment. You will not need to print these forms out. They will be submitted via the digital platform on which we send the forms. If you misplace this email, you can find these forms here.
