Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

By

Dear Valued Patients and Families,

We wanted to reach out to you to let you know that your family and our team’s safety is of the utmost importance to us.

At this time, Dr. Camps Pediatric Dental Center will remain open to serve your dental needs.

We adhere strict Universal Precautions that have always been and will always remain in place at Dr. Camps Pediatric Dental Center. Ensuring all equipment and operatory areas are sterilized and disinfected to protect our patients is our highest priority. Our team is instructed and trained to always wash/sanitize hands between patients as well as wear protective masks, gloves, gowns and eye wear. We also significantly increased sanitizing of frequently touched surfaces in the office, such as workstations, countertops, toys and doorknobs.

When should you NOT come to the Dental Office?

If you are experiencing symptoms of acute respiratory illness (fever, cough and shortness of breath), the CDC’s recommendation is to stay home until you are not experiencing any symptoms and are free of fever for at least 24 hours without use of fever reducing medication. Dr. Camps Pediatric Dental Center is asking that you wait 2 weeks before you reschedule your appointment.

If you or your child has recently returned from international travel, especially the areas of high sustained transmission of COVID-19, as confirmed by the CDC (China, Japan, Italy, Iran and South Korea), we ask that you inform the office.

How can we minimize everyone’s potential exposure now that your child is able to be seen at Dr. Camps Pediatric Dental Center?

To assist in keeping social distancing, we would appreciate your cooperation in limiting the number of people attending the visit to ONLY the parent and patient as much as possible.

As an option, once you arrive in our parking lot, you can call our office to inform us that you are here. Our receptionist will then call you once we are ready for your child’s appointment.

Upon arrival, we will be screening patients with questions pertaining to illness and travel.

As a reminder, please continue with these basic steps to aid in the reduction of spreading this virus:

We appreciate the trust you place in our office and look forward to serving you. Please feel free to contact our office at any time if you have any questions or concerns.

Kindest regards,

Your Friends at Dr. Camps Pediatric Dental Center
